As the first term has passed, students have been busy in the workshop designing their projects and in some cases they have completed the first stages of construction.

Year 7 and 8 classes are building pinball games and they are in the final stages with only three weeks remaining until the next module change over.

Year 9 and 10 have been making wax candles with a wooden display case which are displayed in the photo.

Year 11 BCATS class are making good progress with their cabinets this year with most of the major components made and next term they will be assembling them.

Year 12 students have designed outdoor furniture as their BCATS project and they are also well underway with their construction. These students are making seats, seat benches and tables.

We have two Year 13 girls working to gain Level 3 BCATS. This is the next step in progress from Year 12. Both of these students have decided to make individual projects this year, so we have one making a double dog run and kennel and our other student is making a shed for storage.

So plenty of noise going on in this department.
