The Surf Life Saving National Champs were held in Mt Maunganui, 21st-24th March 2019

Both Kayle Harris and Jordyne Harris competed at the Surf Life Saving National Champs in Mount Maunganui recently.  They both did really well in large surf conditions. 'There was lots of carnage with canoes flipping and people getting thrown out' said Lynette Harris. 

Kayle was 6th in the Open Men's Short Course Canoe and 5th in the Open Men's Long Course Canoe. 

Jordyne was 7th in the U19 Women's Short Course Canoe and 6th in the U19 Women's Long Course Canoe.
