ATTENTION ALL YEAR 11 STUDENTS AND CAREGIVERS

Work Week 2024: Monday 8th to Friday 12th April

Documentation for Workweek is now due. Please hand in to the school office by Monday 23rd February (next week). Once I have your documentation which will include details of prospective employers you have contacted, I will follow up and confirm details of the placement. Please ensure you have transport and accommodation sorted for your student.

In addition to Workweek, all Year 11 students will also do a two day, Work Readiness Course in Dunedin on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th March.
This course will cover Health and Safety in the workplace as well as help students acquire skills in the hospitality/retail industries. Those are all good skills to have when looking for a job, whether it is full-time or part-time. The course also carries 10 credits at Level 2 NCEA.
