How did Pink shirt day originate?

In 2007, two boys noticed another boy being bullied at school for wearing pink. That night the two boys brought 50 pink tops to hand out and support the boy being bullied by standing up to the bully.

To this day Pink Shirt day is a movement that occurs every year globally, to celebrate diversity and stand up against bullying by wearing the colour pink. Pink shirt day is on the 22nd of May so don’t forget to wear pink and stand together to stop bullying.
