Student/Whanau Support Social Worker

Lennox Sharp —

We are about to end what has been yet another quite disruptive and anxious term. Unfortunately, with the delta version of Covid 19, there is no guarantee that next term will run without incident or periods of concern.

For all students it is important that the final term of the year runs as smoothly as possible. This is because a great deal of learning is consolidated as students prepare to advance to a higher level in 2022. For our senior students, in particular, Term 4 often determines whether success is achieved in the various levels of NCEA.

East Otago High School has been provided with funding so that we can have someone based within the school that is able to offer additional support and assistance to anyone within the school community. We are here to help in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to contact me through the school office if you have issues or concerns that you think I might be able to help with.
