Oceana Gold sends students from EOHS to watch Ranfurly Shield rugby game.
31 students from EOHS travelled by train to Oamaru on Friday 26th July 2019 to watch North Otago and Otago contest the Ranfurly Shield. Tickets for the train and entry to watch the game were generously provided by Oceana Gold and students had a fantastic day out.
Oamaru put on fabulous weather for the afternoon and students, staff and parents all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at Whitestone Stadium where Otago retained the Ranfurly Shield in a 49-14 win over North Otago.
