Kāti Huirapa ki Puketeraki would like to meet with whanau and teachers in the East Otago area.

The agenda is not set in concrete but will have three focal points:

• Whānau well-being – how Kāti Huirapa ki Puketeraki can provide financial or other assistance to whānau for education needs
• Whānau aspirations – what do parents and caregivers want to see schools providing in terms of te ao Māori
• New Entrant Kete – feedback for a teacher resource currently being researched

The planned date is Friday 19th August 2022 starting at 4.00pm at Puketeraki Marae.

We would like to have three sessions and time for kai (evening meal)

1. Teachers only
2. Whanau and teachers
3. Kai
4. Parents only

The session with parents and or teachers only could be run simultaneously in different areas, then come together for a joint session, have kai then head home.
