For our Year 7 & 8 students working in Science, the focus for this term has been learning about electricity and more specifically direct current. 

Students have investigated Direct Current Circuits and have learnt what it means to be an open or closed circuit. Another aspect to their learning has been around what is conductive material and what is an insulator. 

The attached photos are examples of using conductive and insulated play dough to light up Light Emitting Diodes (LED's)

The students had fun creating play dough characters to demonstrate their learning.
