DAY 1   

Hello reader, I'm Freya, the leader of the Slinsil Spies. I'm trapped in a dungeon with my companions. You may be wondering how I got here, so let's start from the beginning. My companions and I live in a peaceful country called Slinsil, we are separated by a river that flows between another country Kraznir. They are people that like to fight and cause war. There has been a rumour that Kraznir is going to attack Slinsil. My four companions and I were sent to find out when, where and how they were going to attack.

My companions are very strong and fierce. We have found the battle plans of krill in a chest with old documents. The spies of Slinsil all have special abilities like I have the ability to teleport, As well as shape shifting I have wings like a bird and I have telekinesis.

"We need to find a way out of here" said Ambas, Ambas is a troll he is very strong and broad he carries a rope and rocks to throw at enemies.

"Ugh I'm so tired," said Little John, Little John is a dwarf and complains all the time but he can escape danger quite easily.

 "You're always tired," said Calypso. Calypso is a brave warrior, she is the strongest and skilled with a sword and staff. 

"We should start gathering food," said Touch Fire, Touch Fire can turn invisible and can make fireballs from his bare hands. Also, turn evil creatures into stone. 

"Well, since we can't decide what to do, let's see what the leader has to say." 

Everyone turned to me. 

“We should collect some food," I said, as I looked at a map of the dungeon. "Ambas grab the chest," I said harshly, “There is an empty cell ahead but we should be careful.”

 Everyone raced to the door.

The cell was guarded, Touch Fire went invisible and grabbed Calypso's staff. Touch Fire sneaked behind the guard and hit his head with the staff. The guard flopped on the floor unconscious. After, we ran to the room with the food and I teleported to the food not alarming the guard. I grabbed as much food as I could and teleported out. 

I decided to gather weapons. The problem was that the weapons room was behind where the guards would sleep so we had to act fast. Slowly, we walked to the weapons room where a guard was standing outside the door. Ambas crawled close to the guard then suddenly... Ambas sneezed and the guard turned to see Ambas on the floor but before he could shout to alarm the guards Ambas started to throw rocks as fast as he could.  The guard tried to run but Calypso jumped in between him. The guard had nowhere to run. Calypso grabbed her sword and sliced one of his legs. The guard howled in pain, alarming the rest of the guards. We all ran into the room where the guards slept. Many guards were sleeping.

 "Quickly," I said quietly, "bar the door shut".

Ambas and Little John ran, barring the door shut with a plank of wood. 

"Touch Fire, Ambas, stay here to protect the door."

Calypso and Little John quietly ran to the weapons room making sure not to wake the guards. My companions and I made it to the room with the weapons. I saw a bow and arrow I had taught myself how to use when I was six. Maybe I could remember how to use it. The rest of my group grabbed everything they needed. The only way out was through a tunnel leading to a path near the cliffs. The door out of the weapons room had many guards outside trying to break the door down. Ambas broke the doors hinges, the door fell to the ground with a thud.

My companions and I ran as fast as we could to the tunnel. The tunnel was dark and the floor had a gooey substance. The tunnel smelt like something had died, maybe a rat, I thought to myself. 

"Guys,  we need to find the way out of this awful tunnel," I said while pinching my nose.

"Eww what is that?" Calypso said, pointing to what looked like a rat.

" It's a rat, calm down," said Touch Fire. "Come on, let's go." 

We all ran as fast as we could and made it to the end of the tunnel.

 "Phew I'm so tired, can we please sleep?" said Little John.

 "Let's just go a bit further down the cliff," I said, "there's a path just ahead we can sleep after we get there."

After all of this fighting we finally made it to the path.

I thought to myself, "Great, now we can sleep, " Little John said angrily. 

“Yes, we can,” I say to him, relieved.

 " Let's sleep, my arms hurt," Calypso said as we all laid on the cold hard ground.

DAY 2

I sat up and opened my eyes. The sun was blazing. I turned around to see my companions. Calypso was awake, sharpening her sword. Ambas was collecting some wood, Touch Fire was trying to cook which the food was obviously going to taste very bad. and of course Little John was asleep.

I stood up and heard a howl. I turned around, I could swear I heard something but there was nothing in sight. I asked Ambas if he heard anything. He said he saw something lurking around us. I suddenly saw something, something ghastly. Ttwo wolf like creatures stood in front of us.

"What is that?" I said, my voice shaky

"They’re wargs," said Touch Fire.

Wargs are vile creatures that eat humans but luckily for us they don't like wizards or fire.

The wargs charged at Little John but I quickly used my telekinesis and picked up a log of wood. It smashed into the warg and it started to whimper in pain, its paw was twisted. The biggest warg raced towards Ambas. Ambas tied the rope around the warg’s back legs while Calypso was trying to wake Little John before he became a warg’s snack.

"Wake up, you idiot," said Calypso.

 Ambas had tied the biggest of the wargs to a tree.

" Is that all of them," I said.

Oh did I forget to mention they travel in fours?" said Touch Fire

" You could have mentioned that before," said Calypso.

 She turned as a warg pounced on her. Calypso reached for her sword that was on a rock but she couldn't grasp it. I flew towards her and I grabbed my bow and arrow, hoping not to hit Calypso. I pulled back and let my arrow fly through the air. There was a howl, so loud so deep you could hear it from miles away, My arrow sliced through the warg’s brown black fur.

Calypso grabbed her sword and quickly killed the warg.

" There's one more warg in the distance, " said Ambas.

Touch Fire turned the warg into stone but it wouldn't last long. A minute went by then two, three, and four.

 "We don't have a moment to lose,"I said.

We were too late and the warg turned back to its normal form. This warg looked different from the other wargs. It looked demented, crazy. It had a crazy look in its eye, it snarled, then it charged at the chest with the battle plans of Krill like a raging bull. The warg was so close to destroying the chest with all the documents but Ambas quickly snatched it before it was able to obtain it. The warg had us trapped in a circle around the chest and Little John. I grabbed a stick I found on the ground.

"Touch Fire set this stick on fire," 

“Are you sure? You could get hurt."

"just do it, " I said

Touch Fire set the stick on fire. I jumped in front of the warg and started to get the flames close to its face. The warg ran away in fear.

 "And don't come back," I said.

 We all collapsed to the ground. Ambas yawned. Suddenly little John sat up and he was finally awake!

 "Ambas, you're so loud, can't you be quiet for five minutes?"

 We all stared at him angrily.

“You were asleep that whole time we were fighting those wargs and didn't even wake but when Ambas yawns you suddenly wake up? " said Calypso.

 "What? Ambas is really loud, can you blame me? "

"Yes we can, we are so tired," said Calypso.

 "We must keep travelling," I said wearily.

DAY 3

"What's that noise?"

 "IT'S WARGS!" yelled Ambas, "RUN!"

We all sprinted down the mountain to River Glin. I could see a ship. It wasn't very big but we needed to get away from the wargs.

"We made it," said Touch Fire.

 " The wargs are still coming, we must act fast," I said.

 "Look, there's a small boat," said Ambas. We all climbed on the boat. It started to shake so Ambas and Little John jumped off with the food.

 "It must only carry four people," I said. 

Touch Fire, Calypso and I jumped off, hmm we must make a plan.

"I have an idea," said Touch Fire,"Freya, you can fly to the other side to make sure the area is safe. It seems we need someone to steer and row. Ambas, you should row because you are very strong. I'll steer, let's bring one bag of food and Calypso. Calypso, you and the food will wait on the other side with Freya. We will go back to where Little John and the chest is. Then we will drop them off. Finally Freya can fly back to collect the last bag of food." 

But just before we were able to put our plan into action a slimy shiny blue green serpent sprung out of the water. It was massive, colossal actually, it almost smashed the ship. I flew into the air. I used my bow and arrow but it did nothing. The monster was almost impenetrable.

"Guys, I have an idea. I'm going to distract the serpent while you guys cross."

 Ambas and Touch Fire leapt on the ship with Calypso and a bag of food.

 "Go quick,"

 I soared through the air and the serpent swayed through the water making massive tidal waves heading towards the ship. I used my telekinesis to stop the wave but it wouldn't hold long. 

"Quick go!" I said as Ambas started to row as fast as he could.

 They made it past the wave. The monster was following the ship. The ship was so close to the other side but suddenly the serpent sprouted out of the water. Following the ship, Calypso heard something rolling below the deck of the ship. She went down and saw three shiny eggs. She realised that they were the serpents eggs. She grabbed them and went to the top of the ship.

 "Stop the ship," Calypso yelled.

" The serpent will destroy the ship if we do," said Ambas.

"No she won't.”

 " How do you know it's a she?" 

"No more questions, just stop the ship. 

The ship stopped. The serpent hissed. Calypso held the eggs high in the air and the serpent started to get mad. Calypso gave the eggs back and the serpent wrapped its body around the eggs. Then it slithered and went under the water. 

"Phew,'' I said as Ambas and Touch Fire stared at Calypso like they had seen a ghost. 

"You could have killed us! '' yelled Touch Fire.

“ But I didn't," said the Calypso, relieved.

 Across the river Little John looked astonished. He almost looked like he wasn't breathing.

DAY 4

An hour later everyone had made it across the River Glin and we all travelled to the stoney desert.

It was still dark, anything could be lurking in the darkness. Eeryone's stomach was growling, it sounded like a monster. Suddenly there was a loud growl.

"It's Ambas stomach," said Little John.

 "It's not, it's something dreadful," said Touch Fire.

 "It's a dragon," said Calypso.

 "How do you know?" said Little John snarkily.

 "I was taught how to kill one since I was two. I'm pretty sure I know what sound they make," said Calypso.

 "Well, go kill it," said Little John.

 "I can't see it," said Calypso.

 "Excuses, excuses, " said Little John.

 "I don't see you killing it," she snapped.

 "Ambas, protect the food and the chest" I said.

 Ambas ran with the chest although he kind of looked like he was waddling. Touch Fire used his fire balls but it did no harm to the dragon, the scales only shined brightly. The dragon suddenly was gone. 

 "Where's the dragon?" said Touch Fire.

 From a distance Ambas shouted, "Can't you see it?” 

We looked at him confused.

 "What do you mean?" I said.

 "Watch out," said Ambas as the dragon almost swiped Little John.

Ambas came running towards us, I have enhanced eyesight.

 "What does that mean?" said Little John.

 "It means he can see in the dark," said Touch Fire.

“ Well since Ambas is more help than you Little John, you can protect the chest.”

 " Aww man really?”

"Yes," I said.

 Demanding Little John started to act like a five year old.

 "GO NOW," I said even more mad.

Little John grabbed the chest and carried it away.

“Calypso, I have a plan,” I told her.

 I grabbed her waist and we flew up in the air. I dropped her on the dragon's back and she had her sword ready. She stabbed the dragon while I shot arrows at it. I flew down to where Touch Fire was. "Can you set my arrows on fire?”

“Okay," said Touch Fire, confused why. 

The arrows were now on fire but they would burn out soon so I would have to be quick. I started to shoot arrows at the dragon as fast as I could. The arrows penetrated the dragon's scales. The dragon flew towards Little John and ate him. Calypso quickly sliced the dragon's head off but it was too late, Little John was gone. He died defending our country. We had lost all of our food but we had to find a way back to Slinsil for Little John. No one will forget what he did for Slinsil.

DAY 5

I felt like collapsing from hunger. My companions and I were very weak. I could almost just taste a piece of bread. Finally, we had made it to the forest of Haag. We were all still mourning the loss of our fellow companion. Forest Haag was a dreadful place; there were massive trees with vines hanging down from them.

Touch fire kept making excuses that we shouldn't go inside. He looked uneasy, sick almost.

 "Are you scared, Touch Fire? I thought you were the bravest wizard in the land?" said Calypso.

 "If you must know there is a magician in the forest, Nehemeth." 

" A magician? Are you serious? You're scared of a magician called Nehemeth?" Calypso chuckled.

 " We have been fighting since, well I really can't remember.

 " Just go kill him then," I said.

 "It's not that easy," Touch fire said jumpy, " my spells don't work in Forest Haag."

"We must go through the forest, " I said as I dragged him into the forest.

"HAHA IS TOUCH FIRE TOO SCARED TO FIGHT ME? " said Nehemeth.

 Nehemeth wore a black robe. His face was wrinkled less than Touch Fire’s. He had a magician’s hat on top of his head and he had a long beard. It was black with some grey hairs sticking out. 

"These guys are weird," said Calypso. 

WHIP!  A vine came out of nowhere. It wrapped around Calypso's legs. Her sword slipped out of her scabbard and fell into the mossy forest floor. Calypso was hanging upside down waving her arms around.

 "HELP!" Calypso screeched.

 I tried to grab her arm but I couldn't reach.

 "Hmm if Touch Fire lifts me up I can probably reach Calypso's arms,” I said wearily. 

"Well, are you going to help or what ?" said Calypso.

 "Uhh uhh," Touch Fire stuttered.

 " Ah, my head's throbbing, '' said Calypso.

 "Fine. Ambas, you can help," I said as I looked at Touch Fire who was hiding behind a rock. Nehemeth suddenly came out of the shadows.

 “Are you chicken to fight me Touch Fire?" Nehemeth said, mocking him. 

Touch fire stayed silent.

 " So be it, i will just have to claw you out of your hiding place," he said as he started to destroy the forest.

" Quick he's distracted, come save me," said Calypso. 

I climbed up Ambas’ body with Calypso's sword, then up to his head. I stood on his shoulders and cut the vines. I jumped off Ambas’ shoulders as he caught Calypso. She looked up to see Ambas above her and she passed out. 

 There were only three of us now. Ambas laid Calypso down, meanwhile Nehemeth was destroying Forest Hagg looking for Touch Fire. Nehemeth was flying, destroying anything in his path. I saw Touch Fire in his hiding place behind the rock. I looked up to see him climbing a tree. He grabbed a tree trunk and jumped on Nehemeth. They spun out of control. 

" GET OFF ME YOU BUFFOON!" said Nehemeth. 

Suddenly the forest went dark. It was pitch black we couldn't see anything. I grabbed two rocks and bashed them together making sparks. The sparks from the rocks suddenly made fire. I quickly grabbed a dry stick and the stick went ablaze. I could finally see but my vision was suddenly lost when Touch Fire and Nehemeth crashed down on me.

 "AHHH! '' I screamed as the stick slipped from my hand onto Nehemeth’s robe and Touch Fire suddenly fell off Nehemeth onto a soft patch of moss. 

Nehemeth was on fire. He was flying around and before Nehemeth was about to crash into a tree he cursed Touch Fire. Touch Fire’s skin started to turn a pale green, vines started to grow on him. Touch Fire suddenly had turned into a statue. The last words Touch Fire uttered was a spell. He turned nehemeth to stone. Nehemeth's body fell to the ground and shattered. We all cried over Touch Fire. Calypso suddenly woke up and Ambas hugged her. She had already realised what happened and cried. Ambas could carry Touch Fire back to Slinsil. Ambas picked up touch fire’s body. We travelled back to Slinsil with heavy hearts. At Slinsil we were awarded a medal each and a statue and the most gold I had ever seen. They made Touch Fire and Little John memorial statues as well.  Calypso, Ambas, and I don't know what the future will hold for us, but we know that we will stop Kraznir no matter what.
