On Thursday the 8th of August, Mateus Parker and I, were lucky enough to be picked to attend the Meadow Fresh Steven Adams Basketball Camp in Dunedin.

When we arrived we were broken up into groups and learnt lots of drills, skills and warm ups.

I was so excited when I got the ball during play and Steven Adams gave me a high five. My favourite part was the shooting because I scored lots of goals. It was really challenging having to learn the skills so quickly but so much fun.

Steven Adams was very kind to all the children and walked around the courts helping everyone. It was amazing learning basketball from an NBA player that is a very talented New Zealander and I felt so grateful. He was also super tall and could get the ball in the hoop so easily.
