This would be a casual paid position with a minimum of 5.5 hours per month.
The applicant would need to be available to help during busy periods - like after christmas, and when reopening after lockdown - as well as being able to take shifts to cover the absence of the manager due to holidays or illness.
Duties would include
Accepting and organising recycling
Checking donated reusable items before accepting
Pricing of donated items for sale in the reuse shop
Working in or supervising the reuse shop
Tidying and cleaning at the end of the day
Preparing money for banking
The successful applicant will be friendly, helpful and reliable and be able to take on some physical duties as necessary to the job.
