Students and staff visit Waitangi this weekend

Johnny, Roz and Jessica Roach are going with Josh Walker, Kari Croucher and Lily Roach to Waitangi this weekend, leaving Friday morning from Dunedin airport, then flying to Kerikeri. They will be met there and taken to Waitangi. There will be a welcome powhiri at Waitangi Marae on Friday night. The purpose of the trip is to celebrate the launch of the Harmonize App which our school helped to develop in conjunction with AUT (Auckland University of Technology). We are one of 8 schools in the country that have been working with AUT for the past two and half years. AUT are sponsoring the trip and putting on a number of workshops for the students. We are the only school in the South Island involved in this project. The students will be staying at the Marae as well, while the conference is at the Copthorne in Waitangi.
