The Level 3 Chemistry class recently spent two days working in an undergraduate laboratory in the Chemistry Department at the University of Otago. It was a great experience for the students and they worked really hard to complete the practical work for their NCEA assessment. The students investigated the effect of cooking off the iron concentration in spinach and they will now write up a report about their findings.
