A big welcome to Mr Brian Strang our new HoD English at East Otago High School.

Please find below a little introduction from Mr Brian Strang:

Kia ora,

I have over 20 years teaching experience and have recently returned to New Zealand after two years of teaching at a British international school in Malaysia. Before that, I taught English at Blue Mountain College in rural West Otago. It was here that I discovered the joys of teaching in a small rural community where everyone knows everyone else. I'm from Glasgow in Scotland and as well as teaching in the UK I have taught in Queenstown and Auckland with overseas experience in Brunei, Taiwan and Korea. I am Dunedin-based and am married with two teenage children. My wife is also a teacher. I am really excited to be teaching at East Otago and look forward to getting to know everyone over the next few months.
