Pine cone Fundraiser - Get Winter ready!

Late last year ten lucky students (five boys & five girls) had their names drawn out of a hat to participate in the 2024 Spirit of Adventure Trophy Voyage.

They will fly to Auckland in June, accompanied by Kate O'Connell, to board the ship and will live with and compete against 30 other students from three other schools around New Zealand for a week.

This is an amazing opportunity, offering them the chance to learn life changing skills, both physical and mental.

They will come back with new skills, lifelong new friends and amazing stories to tell.

To help get them there, their families have all pulled together and undertaken some big fundraising activities including car washes, picking up hay, selling raffle tickets and working at the local A&P show and Rodeo.

They have made a good start on their fundraising but still have a long way to go, this is where our school families can help.

They are taking orders for large bags of big, open, dry pine cones – ready to burn for $10 per bag.

Order forms are at the school office and eftpos is available, please support this. 

We will arrange collection times & dates when you can pick up your bags of pine cones from school – this will be advised once we get the orders coming in.

There is also a competition in the School Office, "Guess How Many Lollies in the Jar" 50c per guess so please bring your loose change in.
