The Year 13 Biology students enjoyed having Traci Paton and her gorgeous dogs (Berry, Maple and Serafina) coming in for a visit. Traci spoke about dog breeding and what traits she is selecting for and how she uses genetics when breeding Labradoodles and Retrodoodles. She provided lots of very valuable information that the students are using in their Level 3 NCEA Biology assessment looking at selective breeding and gene transfer.
