W have vacancies (full time perm) at the lab in my sample preparation area, this is where the rock samples from the geology departments are crushed and pulverised.

Shifts are 12 hours long with 3 x 30 minute breaks, with 4 shifts in a row. Roster is rotating 4 day shifts, 4 off followed by 4 night shifts and 4 off. There are free buses running between Dunedin and Oamaru to the site which most staff travel on. And these stop in Palmerston. Start and finish times are 5:30 am/pm to 5:30 pm/am. Current pay rate starts at $24.33.

Although the jobs are permanent, I’m willing to take on someone who might be going off to study in Feb/Mar next year and just wants work across the summer, as long as they are happy to work full time.

They will need to be 18 years of age to work on site.
