The Challenge Wanaka Triathlon is mid February (Thursday 18th). This year, about 12 students competed in the event and really enjoyed the challenge. If any students are interested, they can let myself or Roz know either in person or through email. It is a new course for 2021, at Glendhu Bay which should be awesome. It is a good idea to start training early in the year as once school starts, the event is in about week three. If you would like any guidance with training programmes, I am happy to help with this. The intermediate and secondary sections are very competitive, with most Wanaka students having competed for many years in the primary sections, so they know what they are in for. However, last year we put together some very competitive teams to take on the challenge! You can enter as individuals or teams.
