This week we had ten Year 7/8 Students participating in the KORU GAMES Multi-sport Tournament in Christchurch.

This week we had ten Year 7/8 Students participating in the KORU GAMES Multi-sport Tournament in Christchurch.


The girls played played 10 games of Netball in a very tough competition! We managed to make into the top half of the competition and came 14th out of 32 teams.
Post-Tournament Interview:
How did you prepare for this Netball Tournament?

By practicing three times a week and Mr H took us for fitness work also - "He had us do 150 passes with a medicine ball!!!"


What were the highlights of the trip?

Winning games, getting closer to each other, learning each others strengths, big smiles, attitude, tic tocs, the Margaret Mahy playground, pool sessions and feeding eels in the Avon.


What did you learn from participating in this tournament?

How important it is to have s good attitude, communicate with each other and to not argue with the referee.


What do you have to say to the people who supported this opportunity?
