The EOHS Yr 9/10 team attended the SISS Junior Netball Tournament during the school holidays.

On the 10th July the Year 9/10 Junior Netball team went to Christchurch for the SISS Junior Tournament.  The tournament went for three days, starting on Monday 11th July.

Unfortunately due to the weather the games on Tuesday got cancelled.  We played 6 games over the tournament, with 2 wins and 4 losses.  Overall we placed 23 out of 32 teams.  It wasn't about the win to loss ratio, it was about the experience.

I'm sure the rest of the team would agree that it was different and challenging; with the outdoor courts and wet balls. 

I would like to say thank you on behalf of the team to the following people.  Miss Goodman - for taking time off her holidays to come with us.  Maxine Drabble - for all your help throughout the tournament, and Jodie Kemp - for taking time off work to coach us.  Samuel Paton - for umpiring.  Without their help we would not have been able to attend tournament.
