Health and Safety Course

All Year 11 and 12 students will be attending a Health and Safety Course Term Four.

The Careers' Department is organising a Health and Safety course for all Year 11 and 12 students. The purpose of this course is to ensure that all students are as safe as possible in the workplace as they get part-time jobs or transition into work placements while still in school.

The course carries a total of 15 credits at Level 2 for the Year 11 course and 16 at Level 3 for the Year 12 course. Health and Safety units are a valuable addition to your CV.

The units covered are:

The course will take place at EOHS (school library) on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October for the Year 12 course and on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October for the Year 11 course

All Year 11 and 12 are expected to attend this course.

Any student unable to attend will need to notify me (021 0593 127) by the end of Term 3 (Friday 25th September). Please send email to glj@eohs.school.nz

Students who do not show on the day and have not contacted me will be liable for the cost of the course (approximately $250 per student).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1.Wear tidy mufti
2. Course starts at 8.30am and ends at 3.00pm on both days
3. Bring your lunch and water to drink
4. Bring a couple of pens with you
