Students attend Ski Camp in Cardrona 20th to 24th August.

On the 20th to the 24th of August 2019, some of the Year 12 and 13 students went to Cardrona Alpine Resort to go skiing and snowboarding for Physical Education assessments. There were 16 students, 1 staff member and 3 parents. The Year 12 students went snowboarding and the Year 13 students went skiing. We stayed at Wanaka at the Top 10 Mt Aspiring Holiday Park, and travelled up to Cardrona Alpine Resort every morning. We had to leave the Holiday Park at 7.15am every morning except the first morning when we had to leave 6.30am so that we could get our gear and equipment at the Cardrona Ski Field. We had lessons with instructors at 8.30am every morning which helped us to improve our snowboarding and skiing. There were some great skiers and snowboarders, with some great crashes as well.

Everybody enjoyed the trip and we can’t wait to go again next year!
