Roz Croucher —

24 East Otago High School students attended the Koru Games in Rolleston 19th -22nd September 2022

After Koru Games being cancelled in 2020 and 2021 EOHS was determined to send students to the Koru Games in Rolleston this year.

Two touch teams were sent, with a total of 23 players and a student coach.  Both teams were hungry for top placings and at the end of pool play on day two both teams had won 6 out of 6 games.

Finals day on Thursday 22nd September brought GOLD for the Year 7 Mixed Touch team and the Koru Games Trophy has been brought back to EOHS after wins in 2017 and 2018.  The Year 8 Mixed team rounded out the competition with 4th in the Mixed Grade.

A big thank you goes to Mr Herewini, Mrs O'Connell, Jodie Kemp, Felina Kee and Abigail Paton for all your hard work during the week.
