It was fantastic to see our school winter sports get underway last week. We had our 2 hockey teams and 3 out of our 6 miniball teams playing their first games of the season. 

The ET Jazz team were very excited to share their first game results with me! They had a very close game against Outram drawing 8-8. I look forward to seeing how the boys further develop their skills and improve before they meet Outram again later in the term.

Hockey:

Hockey started back for the season last Wednesday afternoon. It was fabulous to hear from the manager of our Yr 3/4 Speedy Sticks. The team had a great first game against St. Francis Xavier. Although they went down 3-0, everyone tried really hard and played together as a team. Well done to Ben T for receiving player of the day.
