This event is a fundraiser for K9MD; a charitable trust based right here on the Taieri. At K9MD, we are training dogs to detect cancer in urine samples. While training is going well, we receive no government funding at this stage, and so fundraising is important to us, as is raising awareness in the local community regarding what we are doing.

The event is a walk up Saddle Hill; a very rare opportunity, as the land is all privately owned. The views from the top are spectacular! The event is being organised by Rotary and can operate under the Red Level setting.

We believe this is a great fundraising event, and an excellent way to get families out and participating in healthy activities together.
