KELLY CLUB NEWS

Annette MacRae —

Hi Kelly Clubbers,
What an awesome start to 2021 it has been,  I have loved seeing all your happy faces back at school.
A few changes to our Team for 2021, Melissa and I will still be your familiar regulars but we have some new people starting that we want to make welcome. Olivia is joining us to support Melissa who is hoping to get some practical teaching time towards her study, and Caitlin who is studying fashion, will be with us Monday and Friday. On the odd occasion we are also lucky enough to have my mum, Eloises Grandma Judi come and spend time with the kids when needed, who brings another special dynamic to our Kelly Club family. Also for the parents, we have agreed that we really couldn't let Amanda go altogether from the Kelly Club team, so she has accepted to continue in an admin role to help keep our invoicing running smoothly, so any account queries will be handled by her.
Just to reiterate my own situation, I will be at school each fortnight as much as I can, to spend time with the kids. It is still very much my main priority and reason for becoming involved with Kelly Club, to stay in touch and familiar with the kids at a face to face level. In the weeks in between I am always checking emails and receiving updates from the staff how everyone is doing. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any concerns or help you need.

A few housekeeping requests for the start of the year - can everyone please check their contact details are current, emergency phones and emails.  If you have moved house over the summer or want to add a new adult to collect your child, please inform us either via email or directly update your profile when making bookings. Term 1 and 4 we want to continue to keep our kids sunsafe over the summer months, please provide a named hat - ANY HAT, so we can enjoy fun outside afterschool. This leads onto our often frustrating task of keeping uniforms with the correct children. Many jackets seem to have been mixed up last week when kids were leaving, sometimes in a hurry or tired, and as a parent i know these are not cheap to replace. Please check if your child's jacket has their own name on it.

A big thanks to all those families for keeping on top of their account balances.  We are starting the year in a very healthy place which helps me to provide an awesome programme and keep our staff happy to come to work.
Finally we welcome some new faces especially some 5year olds just starting school.  It is truly wonderful to have you join us and we hope you have as much fun afterschool as our long term friends.
Week 3 already, wont be long and it will be Easter on its way!
Light and laughter,
Amy.

Kind regards,
East Taieri Kelly Club
