This week is Support Staff Week which gives us the opportunity to acknowlege the invaluable contribution that our great team makes for all of us at East Taieri.

We feel so fortunate that our Board of Trustees gives such high priority to student achievement at East Taieri and supports teachers by committing a large proportion of our operating grant to fund Teacher Assistants. This dedicated, skilled team supports teachers and learners in classrooms as well as implementing specialised programmes for targeted learners and those with high health needs.

Senior School Team: Tracy Ruddenklau, Michelle Day & Diane Hyslop

Annette MacRae, our Administration Manager efficiently takes on a range of roles throughout the day, from Finance Administrator, to Nurse, Tooth Fairy and secretary. As well as her role as Teacher Assistant Michelle Day also assists in the office. Ross Ballantyne, our caretaker never knows from one day to the next what will be asked of him, from keeping the grounds immaculate, classrooms warm, fixing buildings and playground equipment and sorting out problems for both staff and students. Diane Hyslop our librarian makes sure that our fabulous library is a place that children love to be.
