Rātā and Rimu - (Rooms 9 & 10) looked very regal in their crowns on Friday as they found out information about the King's coronation.

Staff have been working throughout the day with Mark Osborne, Director of 'Leading Learning.' Mark is particularly passionate about curriculum development, future-focused education, innovative learning environments and educational leadership. He has been focusing on strategies to help teachers to develop learner agency in students.

We welcome three second year teacher trainees from the University of Otago College of Education, as they begin their three week placement at East Taieri. Chelsea Gabites Greenall is with Rimu - Room 10, Hannah Pollock in Kōwhai - Room 6 and Bree Shaw is in Kānuka - Room 5. We wish them an enjoyable and rewarding time with us.

MOTHER'S DAY LUNCH

A reminder that mothers, or special family members are invited to bring lunch to share with their children this Friday 12th May. Lunch starts at 12.40pm.
