It was fabulous to celebrate our wonderful tamariki and all their sporting achievements at our winter sports assembly last week. Please see the sports assembly article for all the information.

Futsal begins today for our Junior and Middle teams and tomorrow for our Senior teams! Good luck to our 4 teams who are playing this week. We are still looking for a Yr 0-2 player to join our Junior Futsal team playing at the Edgar Centre on a Tuesday evening. If your child is keen to play, please email rachelp@east-taieri.school.nz

Cricket - we are entering two Yr 3-6 cricket teams into the summer smash and girls smash competitions held in Mosgiel on a Thursday afternoon. We are still looking for another couple of boys and girls to join these teams. If your child is keen to give cricket a go in a learning, supportive environment please email rachelp@east-taieri.school.nz

Touch will resume as usual next week. It's been a messy few weeks with public holidays and the school holidays. I am looking forward to some regular games for the children to build some consistency and fine tune their touch skills. Remember to send me through your child's teams results so I can share them with our community.
