Putting into practice all of their East Taieri learner qualities, Madison R, Vanessa H and Paget S raised $226 for KidsCan through their bakesale fundraising efforts. Well done girls for supporting such a great cause!

Madison had been planning to hold a bakesale at school last term, but ran out of time. Instead, she and her friends arranged for it to be held at Countdown during the first weekend of the holidays. The girls did almost all of the organising themselves led by Madison who even approached Countdown herself to ask permission.
