From the Home & School Committee...

The Home & School committee would like to thank those who came to their nutrition evening and AGM last month and welcome three wonderful new members Sarah, Kim and Jessica.We have seen several members of the committee leave in 2017 and are looking for some  new parents to join us! We are currently a lovely (but very small) bunch of school Mums who help the school and our kids by meeting once a month to discuss organising fun social events and fundraisers for the school. Our biggest of course is the biennial school fair (next fair will be in 2019). Many hands make light work, so if you have a little spare time to help plan and execute events and fundraisers we'd love to have you on board!If you would like to join the committee or hear more about what we do, we would love for you to come along to our next meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday 10th April) at 6pm in the school staffroom. This week your children will bring home a raffle ticket (one per family) for our Mothers Day Raffle. Funds from this raffle will be going towards purchasing a much needed heat pump when the Senior Block is upgraded shortly, to keep our kids toasty and warm in the Winter and nice and cool in Summer.
This year our committee is being lead by Janna Begley as President, Kelli Najafi as Secretary and Tracy McGee at Treasurer.We are all looking forward to a wonderful 2018 full of fun, social events for both kids and parents, new ideas and meeting many new committee members!
