MATAĪ AND MĀNUKA HOME LEARNING

Melanie Cruickshank —

Mataī and Mānuka have done so well alongside their whānau adjusting to home learning. We have been able to hear children read and see all sorts of word work, spelling and writing. Alongside this has been great creativity from flower mandalas and baking to drum kits and maracas made from recyclable materials! We have had budding performers post videos to Seesaw of them singing us songs and playing musical instruments. Mataī and Mānuka have many great mathematicians who have been busy completing daily number challenges and hunting through the house for shapes to categorise. It has been fantastic to have so many children on Zoom each morning dressed to match our daily theme.

Tino pai tō mahi Mataī and Mānuka Whānau!
