This morning's weather wasn't a great start for Walk N Wheel Week, so well done to those who braved the rain, walking or wheeling to school. Hopefully the rest of the week brings better weather.
Our Year 6 students had a great day at Tirohanga for their Leadership Outdoor Education Day - see article later in newsletter.
COVID UPDATE
To date we have two students and one staff member who have tested positive for Covid 19.
Just letting parents and caregivers know that as soon as I receive notification of a student or staff member testing positive, I will notify the parents/ caregivers of children in that class, prior to notifying the school community.
As I said last week, we are really appreciative of parents being so vigilant, keeping children at home if they are at all unwell. We would strongly encourage Year 3 students who are in a composite Year 3/4 class to wear a face mask.
Noho ora mai.
