The school was given no prior warning that there would be such major traffic congestion before school this morning. A special thank you to Nigel Renton who was the parent patrolling the Gladstone Road crossing, for coping well with such a challenging situation and making sure that your children were crossed safely. We have been informed that there was an unexpected machinery breakdown which caused the closing of the north bound lane on the motorway.
