In conjunction with NZ Chefs Association, we’re on the look out for kids with a passion for cooking to participate in our Kiwi Kids Can Cook Competition!

With categories for both Ages 8 and under & Ages 9 – 11, the lucky participants will get to showcase their skills at our Great Kiwi Home & Living Show on Saturday 3rd of November with 30 minutes to create and plate their signature dish featuring at least ONE New Zealand grown vegetable.

Heat 1: Ages 8 and under – 10am

Heat 2: Ages 9-11 – 11am

Finals for both ages – 12:30pm

The winners of this cook-off will be flown to Auckland for the 2019 Kiwi Kids Can Cook National Finals with free flights and accommodation for the contestant and a parent.

Entries must include:

- A brief summary of why they like cooking

- Recipes of the two favourite dishes they love to cook.

- This competition is all about creativity so feel free to include; photos, drawings, DVD, CD-ROM, booklet, video, Youtube link or anything else that might support their entry.

NZ Chefs Association will be choosing 5 entrants from each age group and The Hits will be picking the 6th entrants through their own Wild-Card promotion.

Entries close 5:00pm on 19th of October 2018.
