During Term 4 a group of Junior, Middle and Senior students met weekly to explore environmental topics. Some of the topics covered included waterway care, conservation of Earth's resources, sustainability, waste management, along with practical activities such as setting up a garden bed with top soil. 

On our final day last Thursday, 25th November, we invited Nicole from NZ Land Care, and Jennie, from the DCC, to help us test the creek water clarity. We also examined a water sample from the Silverstream as an comparison. It was interesting to see the living creatures in both waterways.
