ROOM 4 AND ROOM 9/10 STEM ACTIVITIES

Natalie King-Begg —

Last week Room 4 came to visit Room 9 and 10 to find out about DIP time. The 3 classes worked together and completed a STEM activity making bridges.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. DIP time in Room 9 and 10 stands for D=making our own decisions, I=independent and inquiring and P=Play. The older children joined in all the activities and then the 3 classes worked together to design and make a bridge. Room 9 and 10 really enjoyed having Room 4 to visit, and we are going to make this a regular learning experience.
