Last Tuesday we were lucky to be visited by Jenny Cooper as part of the Storylines Book Tour.

Jenny Cooper visited East Taieiri to speak about her job as a book illustrator.  She has illustrated over 70 children's books, many of which we have in our school library.  Jenny explained about the process of illustrating a book and showed us examples of her art work.  It was a great opportunity to learn more about being an artist, showing resisilience and inspired many of our budding East Taieri Artists!  Jenny commented that the welcome she had to school from the welcoming commitee of  Kaiah H and Sophia H-J was the best she had had on the tour.  Thanks for being such great ambassadors girls!
