TIROHANGA - WHOLE SCHOOL EOTC
On Friday11th May, the whole school will all be taking part in an EOTC activities day at Tirohanga Camp. The purpose of this day is to bring all the children of East Taieri together in team building activities and to develop their leadership and co-operative skills for the year ahead and the future.
We will require lots of parent helpers for the day to look after teams and to help out with activities. The activities are very easy to manage and are focused on team building and co-operation rather than skill. If you are able to help please let your child's teacher or Peter Thorn (peter@east-taieri.school.nz) know asap.
If you have said yes to helping on the day we just expect you to be there. We won’t be sending out another note to confirm that we need you.
The cost to the children is $3:00 per person which will be added to the term account.
We will be travelling to Tirohanga by bus leaving school at 9am sharp and returning to school as close to 2:45pm as we can.
If it is raining on the day the postponement day is 23 May. If postponed we will let parents know on the website, facebook and skool loop.
The children will need morning tea, a packed lunch, a water bottle and any medications they may require eg inhalers, hay fever medication etc.
They do not wear their school uniform. They will need to wear clothes and shoes appropriate for physical activities and have with them warm clothes, sunhat and sun block all together in a backpack.
If you have any questions about this day please do not hesitate to contact us.
Many Thanks
The Staff of East Taieri School
