A quick update on the Year 5-6 Boys Futsal from the last 3 games.

Wed 4th Nov
Wow what a game - The boys had their best ever game to date and played like troopers - unfortunately the result was a 5 - 4 loss but they can be super proud of themselves.
Goals to Connor, Izaak and Rhys , but were also helped but a great team of defence and attack by all players, and was a nail bitter to watch. They have come so far and were so close to a draw. Player of the day Rhys L.

Wed 11th Nov
With half of the team being out with Year 6 Camp the remaining Year 5s were helped out by Angus R and Harry S - who both played a great game of Futsal. Along with James, Ollie and Jacob G and no subs, they held out to a 2 all draw after another nail bitter. Player of the day was Ollie.

Wed 18th
With the Year 6s return from Camp a full team on board - after a rusty first half they had a turnaround and kept the opposition scoreless in the second half and narrowly went down 4 - 3. Player of the day and well deserved was Jacob G.

Has been great over the weeks to see the boys improve with every game and hoping for a win this week after being so close in the last 3 games they certainly all deserve to come out on top.

FLIPPABALL (mini water polo)

Flippa ball is up and running on a Sunday at Moana Pool. The draw is out, it can be found on our school sports website and on this webpage for Otago Waterpolo.

Match Reports

ET Seals vs Wakari Starfish 7:4Great passing and hustle on defence versus a tough opposition, helped the Seals come away with another win. Their teamwork and looking for our free players has enabled to team to show improvement every week. Well done ET Seals!

Player of the day : Isha for her amazing improvement and going after the ball.

ET Dolphins vs Diamond Dolphins

ET Dolphins had a tough game against the Diamond Dolphins on Saturday going down 7-1. With 3 of our usual players away we were incredibly grateful for the help from Jack J, Charlotte J and Lilly M - thanks heaps for helping us out!  Congratulations to Player of the Day, Angus Russell! Angus stepped up to play goalie in the deep end and also scored a great goal for the Dolphins. Special mentions this week for Kaiah H who played an excellent game and JP T-S, who filled in for the Sharks.
