Netball

Please see the separate notice about Netball for the 2022 season. We would love more parents to support our netball coordinator and be on the Taieri Junior Netball Committee.

Keep an eye out for the Netball Registrations opening soon for East Taieri School.

Football

Football South are holding lots of girls & women events over the next couple of weeks, including coaching & referee courses, football festivals and beach football. All of which will be updated on their website Football South - Girls and Women.

Miniball

Registrations for Miniball will open over the next few weeks. Miniball is a modified version of Basketball that is played at the Memorial Park Stadium in Mosgiel. Keep an eye out on our School Sports Website and the newsletter to register your child for Miniball in Term 2 and 3.

Monday - Year 4

Tuesday - Year 5/6

Wednesday - Year 1 / 2 / 3

Hockey

Registrations will also open for Junior Hockey in Term 2 and 3 over the next few weeks too.  Keep an eye on the school sports website and also the newsletter for the forms to fill in.

Hockey is played in Dunedin at the main turf on Harbour Terrace and at Kings High School and also on the new turf at Taieri College.  It is played on a Wednesday afterschool from 3.45 - 6.00pm.

Hockey is for all children from Years 3-6.  There are some other hockey options available for the Year 1-2 children during different parts of the term.  Keep an eye on the website and newsletters for these too.

The children do not need to have a hockey stick to play as we can lend you one from school, so it's a great opportunity to give it a go first before spending money on gear.
