BRAIN DAY TRIP

Garth Powell —

Today children from the Junior and Middle schools visited the Mosgiel Public Library to work with neuroscientists from the Brain Health Research Centre (BHRC) at the University of Otago, Dunedin.  Their goal is to educate our children about the human brain.

They wanted to teach primary school students about the amazing facts related to our brain through various fun brain games and activities. They also had an inflatable human brain with brain-related facts to add to the knowledge through fun.

The children and adults thoroughly enjoyed participating in the 6 different neuroscience stations, and the trip was topped off with a visit inside a HUGE inflatable brain.
