KOHEKOHE AND NIKAU'S VISIT TO ARAITEURU MARAE
Last week all East Taieri children visited the Araiteuru Marae in Dunedin. We had a powhiri to invite us onto the marae. We felt very welcome and it was great for the children to experience the protocols of a Marae. Children enjoyed the range of activities which included: games, storytelling, flax weaving, sharing our mihi and learning about Matariki. Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the day.
