RAIN DANCING

Jennifer Horgan —

Alexis Watt - Year 6

Her chestnut hair danced around her head as she spun. The rain that was soaking her blue velvet dress splattered on the ground, as her feet gripped the water-covered concrete. As the day went on, her hair stuck to her face while she shared a smile with the world around her. With her arms twirling, the velvet dress spun, she looked like a peacock. The rain surrounds her, leaving puddles for her to dance in. The smile she had grew bigger as she laughed in the fun. But the most amazing thing was the rainbow that she saw with her hazel eyes. When the sun came out, the girl was drenched from head to toe. Once she ran back home, she knew that she would always remember that one moment in her life.
