Our Otago Representatives Samuel McH, Jacob G and Kaiah H represented East Taieri School exceptionally well at the weekend in Christchurch at the Te Wai Pounamu Touch Tournament. A great experience for them all.

Flippa Ball
Congratulations to all of our Flippa Ball Teams too this season. ET Dolphins taking out the win in the Final - great work team!
ET Dolphins 12 vs Fairfield 7
What an exciting game ET played for the final against Fairfield, to take out the win for their grade. ET played a very physical nail-biting game with each team going goal for goal.Max worked tirelessly along the midline, turning over and sending balls back into the opposition half. Jude played a superb half at goalie stopping numerous shots at goal from scoring. Well played under pressure!Lucy, Fergus, Lani, Mabel and Regan displayed a strong defence, contesting the ball and putting pressure on the attackers.Vanessa kept her cool and stayed strong at goalie in the face of an ongoing attack.George and Carter, (& Max in the 2nd half) worked extremely well together, finding each other to throw to amongst the very strong Fairfield defence.Well done ET Dolphins, you’ve all put in a huge effort over the season and came out with a well deserved win and to take out the winners of your grade. So proud of you all!!
T Ball
The first half of the tee ball season has begun wonderfully. Our team consists of Alfie T, Sophie M, Hamish VT, Hunter D, Cooper D, Zachary H and Logan R.The team is cohesive and learn quickly. They show great sportsmanship and we have great turn outs to both practices and games (when not rained off). It's a pleasure coaching these kids as they not only bring big energy and hard work, their parents also turn up ready to help out also. All our games are friendlies while playing as under 7s, and this has also helped the kids learn the rules and build their confidence around the game.I really look forward to seeing out the second half of the season after the summer holidays.
Any Tigers Tops that are not being used this year need to be returned to school ASAP please, thanks.
Winter and Summer Sports Gear Return
Can all Coaches/Managers who still have gear bags, balls, bibs etc from winter and Summer sports return these to the school office now. Huge thanks.
