As part of the Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities professional learning we are undertaking, we have been asked to provide assessment data so that researchers can help to make enhancements to teacher practice. The assessment tasks are done as part of normal teaching and are analysed by the researchers to provide new learning and understanding about the way that children engage in mathematics tasks.
