East Taieri School is one of six schools nationwide - and the only South Island school, featured in the recent ERO publication "Keeping Children Engaged and Achieving in Writing."

ERO has released a series of national evaluation reports on Teaching Strategies that Work. The work of East Taieri School featured among the exemplars in these publications.

An exemplar report (attached)  describes the effective practice ERO found when they evaluated our programme last year, along with some context about the national study. The exemplar report will also be published on ERO's website in the next few weeks.
