Rugby League Competition

Huge congratulations to our 2 Yr 5/6 League teams who took part in the Southern Rugby League Primary School Tournament on Friday.  A very windy day greeted us at Logan Park and some tough competition first up for our Navy team who faced Carisbrook.  The team did exceptionally well ending in a draw.  The Green team faced a well drilled, fast Fairfield team and came away with a narrow win.  Hat trick of tries to Hudson S and Hamish C in that game.  After a few other games each, including playing each other, it was through to the finals.  Our Navy team faced the tough Carisbrook again and Green took on Fairfield again.  East Taieri Green came out the champions winning the Year 5/6 competition overall.

Huge thanks to Jessica and Tai for their help and coaching with the Navy team and also to our parent supporters for the day.
