The sun shone beautifully for the Senior Year 4 - 6 Taieri Schools Sports Association Cross Country on Tuesday. Children from East Taieri, Elmgrove and Silverstream Schools all merged together at Peter Johnstone Park with a number of eager parents ready for the Cross Country races.

East Taieri Results were:

Year 4 Boys - Zac Cunningham 1st, Otis Quelch 2nd

Year 4 Girls - Ruby Jones 1st, Jenny Pentagam-Thatch 3rd

Year 5 Boys - Joel Bain 2nd

Year 6 Boys - Harrison Thode 1st

Year 6 Girls - Georgia McHutchon 1st, Rosie Falcous 3rd

Congratulations to the following children who have qualified for the Otago Cross Country Championship race which is being held at Kaikorai Valley College on Friday the 1st of September:-
