KĀNUKA AND KŌWHAI’S AMAZING HOME LEARNING

Belinda Duff —

Kānuka and Kōwhai have hopped back onto the Online Learning Train with great enthusiasm.

Our daily zoom meetings have been a highlight and we have enjoyed a pet day, a pyjama day, funky Friday dress up, scavenger hunts, bingo, memory games, drawing on paper balanced on our heads, would you rather and a minute to win it - to name just a few! We have enjoyed visits from special guests- a big thanks to Mrs Horgan, Mrs Casey, our brothers and sisters, Amy and her children!

We have been busy sharing our work on Seesaw and email. Some of class activities have included crazy critters, book reviews, poems, maths challenges, paper plane making, fitness challenge, neighbourhood scavenger hunts, Daffodil pictures for Daffodil Day, art hub for kids,  and making Fathers Day cards. We have been working hard on Study Ladder, Epic, reading and listening to stories from Radio New Zealand.

We have enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and spend time with people in our 'bubble'.  See our fabulous work and what we have been up to in the photos below.

A big thank you from Miss Miller, Mrs Casey, Mrs Duff and Amy to the families for their fantastic support with our learning.
